Erlocip 100mg Tablet is used for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer. It works by preventing the activity of a protein called epidermal growth factor receptor, which leads to the expansion and spread of cancer cells. Erlotinib Tablets is prescribed as initial therapy if cancer cells have specific EGFR mutations and also if the disease remains unchanged after initial chemotherapy. It is also used & prescribed by the doctor in combination with various other treatments called gemcitabine.
How to Use Erlocip 100mg Tablet?
It is advised by the doctor to take Erlocip Tablets in an empty stomach at least one hour before or 2 hours after a meal, usually once daily. Take this medicine with a single glass of water sallow the whole tablet at once. Don't break, chew, or break the tablet as it may have adverse effects.
Side Effects of Erlocip 100mg Tablet
Erlotinib Tablets may have some minor side effects nausea, vomiting, fatigue, abdominal pain, swelling, weight loss, infection, bone pain.
This tablet may have some significant side effects like -constipation, diarrhea, fever, rash, and shortness of breath, muscle pain, and cough.
