Febutaz 40mg belongs to a class of drugs called xanthine oxidase inhibitors. The active component present is Febuxostat, which reduces the level of uric acid by blocking the xanthine oxidase enzyme.
How to Use Febutaz 40mg Tablet?
Tab Febutaz is available for oral consumption and is taken with or without a meal. Swallow the drug as a whole with a sufficient amount of fluids once daily. Take Febuxostat Tablets in dose and duration as advised by the doctor even when one does not have a gout attack. Do not increase or diminish the dose without discussing it with the doctor.
Side Effects of Febutaz 40mg Tablet
Some of the common side effects of Febuxostat Tablets are headache, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, blurred vision, chest discomfort, rashes, yellow-colored skin or eyes, fast heartbeat, unexpected weight gain or loss, pale skin, and decreased interest in sexual intercourse.

I have been taking Uloric for more than three years. I used to get gout assaults about once like clockwork or somewhere in the vicinity. Since taking Uloric, I haven't had an individual style up, not have I needed to watch what I eat or drink.
