Optipres Eye Drop is used for reducing the high pressure the eyes, which occurs due to glaucoma and other diseases such as ocular hypertension. It reduces high pressure and helps in preventing vision loss. It contains both betaxolol and benzalkonium chloride as active ingredients. It works by inhibiting the activation of beta-adrenergic receptors in the heart, and vascular smooth muscle receptors, killing bacteria by tearing up the cell membrane.
How to Use?
Follow the instructions given by the specialist to use Optipres 0.25% Eye Drop in your eyes. It is strictly advised to use it only in the eyes. It should be taken as per the dose and time prescribed by the doctor. Put it onto the affected eye by holding the dropper near to the eye without touching it. Avoid using contaminated hands and hence wash your hands properly with water and soap to prevent infection. Then squeeze the dropper gently and put a drop of the medicine.
Some side effects of Optipres 0.25% Eye Drop are blurred vision, insomnia, dizziness, difficulty in breathing, headache, watery eyes, temporary discomfort, sensitivity to light.
